摘要

Research on social movements has long held that movements are more successful when targeting institutions in which there are influential allies. Activists seeking to change corporate policies may be more effective when employee allies help mobilize support for those policies and assist in implementing them. This presentation will focus on two key questions about ally mobilization in the workplace. 1) What conditions make employee allies effective in implementing social movement-led changes? And 2) why do some employees become allies of a movement whereas others do not?
