Announcement|The MOR Award for Best Paper Based on a Dissertation

Management and Organization Review (MOR) is pleased to announce the MOR Award for Best Paper Based on a Dissertation, which recognizes an exceptional article published in the journal during the previous calendar year that is based on a dissertation, with the lead or sole author being the dissertation author.
Indicator: During the submission process, the submitting author should indicate in the cover letter that the paper is eligible for the award. They will also be asked to indicate whether the manuscript is based on the lead author’s doctoral dissertation.
Eligibility: Articles published in MOR in the previous calendar year are eligible if they are based on doctoral research and the lead author is the author of the dissertation from which the paper is derived.
Selection: MOR will form an independent committee from the MOR editorial board to review all eligible dissertation-based papers and select the best work that contributes to Chinese management studies.
The recipient of the award will receive a prize of US$1,000.
Winners will be announced at IACMR biannual conference the IACMR/MOR reception during the annual Academy of Management meeting.
