摘要
As one of the top-ranked journals in management and business, more broadly, the Academy of Management Review (AMR) is the leading journal dedicated to publishing new theoretical insights that improve our understanding of management and organizations. AMR aims to publish papers that offer highly novel and significant theoretical contributions and that challenge conventional wisdom. But what does it mean to offer a novel and significant theoretical contribution? Kris Byron, the editor-in-chief of AMR, will clarify what constitutes a meaningful conceptual contribution at AMR. She will discuss the most common reasons papers are rejected at AMR and offer advice about how to avoid this fate.
